What it does well

Based on Zapier's pricing page, the Free plan is a real way to test ideas. It includes 100 tasks per month, two-step Zaps, 15-minute polling, one seat, Tables up to 2,500 records, and Forms up to 10 pages. The page also says triggers and Tables or Forms steps do not count as tasks.

Getting started in 10 minutes

Pick one trigger and one action, such as a new form entry saved to a table. Test with a sample record, then check the task count before turning it on. New accounts get a 14-day Pro trial without a card, according to the page.

Limits to check before you commit

Multi-step Zaps, premium apps, and webhooks need Pro, listed from $19.99 per month billed annually ($29.99 monthly) at 750 tasks. Team starts at $69 per month annually with 25 seats and SSO. Enterprise is custom. Overage is billed per task if enabled, and usage pauses at three times your plan. Zapier Agents and Chatbots are separate add-ons with their own allowances.
