The useful result

Produce three distinct campaign angles whose factual claims all match an approved offer.

  • Produce three distinct campaign angles whose factual claims all match an approved offer.
  • Inspect the supplied example and identify a result that fails the task.

The useful AI shortcut in a Facebook campaign is preparing distinct, accurate ideas from one approved offer. Meta documents optional AI creative features, but availability and behaviour vary by account and format. This exercise stays in draft mode and teaches a claim ledger before any campaign is published or money is spent.

Reviewed on 9 October 2026 against the linked official sources. These instructions teach a bounded practice task; account features and limits can differ. Expected outputs are illustrative rather than captured AI runs. Keep original inputs and verify the result before using it.

Before you start

  • A fictional or approved product offer
  • Any text assistant for drafting
  • Optional access to a Meta Ads Manager draft for inspecting previews

Official capabilities checked; exercise prompts and expected outputs are original illustrative teaching material.

1

Create an offer ledger

Write the approved offer and a forbidden-claim list. Separate format choices from product facts. Use a fictional workshop so the exercise needs no live campaign or customer targeting.

Example / expected result

Illustrative example (not a recorded model result): Workshop: 24 October, 90 minutes, USD 25, product-photo practice checklist. Forbidden: guaranteed sales, limited seats, invented testimonials.

Check your result

Every approved fact must have an owner or source you can identify; in this exercise the supplied fictional brief is the source.

2

Ask for genuinely different angles

Give the assistant three named angles so it does not produce the same caption with new adjectives. Require the factual fields to remain identical across variations. Do not ask for “viral copy” as an acceptance criterion.

Try this prompt
Use the offer ledger only. Draft three 50-word Facebook captions: skill demonstration, beginner confidence and process preview. Each must preserve date, duration, price and included checklist. End with one registration action. Return a claim ledger for each.

Example / expected result

Illustrative example (not a recorded model result): Three angles with identical offer facts; none promises revenue or says places are running out.

Check your result

Compare dates, price and included items character by character. Check the angles differ in the reader’s reason to attend.

3

Inspect the actual creative variants

If you use Ads Manager, inspect the draft’s creative settings and placement previews rather than assuming the assistant’s copy is exactly what will display. Meta documents opt-in and opt-out for creative features; labels can change. This step requires no publishing.

Try this prompt
Review these captions for unsupported claims. Return caption ID, exact questionable phrase, why it is unsupported, and a corrected phrase. Do not approve a claim because it sounds persuasive.

Example / expected result

Illustrative example (not a recorded model result): A phrase such as “double your sales” is removed because the offer ledger gives no evidence for it.

Check your result

Inspect previews for added text, changed prices, generated imagery and unreadable cropping. Keep the draft unpublished.

4

Prepare a measurable test brief

Choose one intended action and write what you would measure if a campaign is later authorised. Separate that future measurement from this exercise’s copy checks. Avoid declaring a winner from an AI opinion.

Try this prompt
Create a draft test brief: audience need, three angles, one call to action, claim checks, placement checks and the metric to inspect later. Do not set a live budget or publish.

Example / expected result

Illustrative example (not a recorded model result): A reviewable brief measuring registration-related outcomes later, with no fabricated conversion result now.

Check your result

Confirm there is no live spend, automatic post, made-up audience data or claimed performance result.

When it goes wrong

AI can add urgency, eligibility or benefits that the product owner never approved. Return to the ledger and remove those claims. Creative options can alter a preview, so inspect the actual account interface. A draft that passes wording checks still needs normal campaign approval and real performance measurement.

Make it your own

Replace the fictional workshop with a permitted offer. Draft three angles and have another person check only the facts before discussing style.
